Adapted senior fitness, at your home
Staying active after 60 isn't about performance. It's about autonomy, enjoyment and quality of life. We come to you to support you, at your own pace.
Why exercise matters after 60
The body changes with age. But adapted physical activity slows that change, prevents accidents and keeps the joy of movement alive.
Fall prevention
Falls are the leading cause of hospitalisation in over-65s. Balance and proprioception exercises significantly reduce that risk. A few weeks is enough to see a difference.
Maintaining muscle strength
From age 50, you lose 1 to 2% of muscle mass each year on average. Adapted strength training slows that loss and lets you carry the shopping, climb the stairs and garden without difficulty.
Cognitive stimulation
Physical activity improves memory, concentration and reduces the risk of cognitive decline. Moving feeds your brain too. Our exercises combine movement and coordination for a double benefit.
Social connection and morale
Isolation is a silent epidemic. The regular visits of a coach create an eagerly awaited appointment, a warm human exchange. It is often the highlight of the week for those we support.
What we work on together
Each session is built bespoke. Here are the types of exercises we offer, always adapted to your abilities on the day.
Joint mobility
Gentle movements to maintain shoulder, hip, knee and ankle suppleness. Restoring range for everyday actions.
Functional strength
Standing up from a chair, carrying a bag, climbing stairs. We train the muscles that really serve you, with exercises that mirror everyday life.
Balance and proprioception
Work on stable then unstable surfaces, single-leg stance, balance routes. The key to preventing falls and feeling more sure of yourself.
Walking and gentle endurance
Adapted cardio exercises to improve breath and stamina without forcing. Going to fetch the bread without getting out of breath is a real goal.
Breathing and relaxation
Diaphragmatic breathing techniques to manage stress, improve sleep and recovery. A moment of calm in every session.
Coordination and reflexes
Fun exercises combining movement and thinking. Catching a ball, following a rhythm, sequencing movements. We keep reflexes sharp while having fun.
A typical session with Madeleine, 74
Madeleine lives alone in her flat in Nice. After a fall in her kitchen six months ago, she'd lost her confidence. Here's what one of her sessions looks like.
9.00 — Welcome
Tom arrives with his equipment. We have a coffee, chat about the week. Madeleine mentions she had a slight knee twinge on Tuesday. Tom notes it and will adapt the exercises.
9.10 — Warm-up
Gentle mobilisation of ankles, knees, hips and shoulders. Standing near a chair for safety. Simple movements to wake the body up gently.
9.20 — Strength work
Chair squats, resistance bands for the arms, gentle core work lying on the mat. Each exercise is explained and adapted. We avoid the right knee today.
9.50 — Cool-down
Stretching, deep breathing, session debrief. Madeleine smiles: she held single-leg stance for 30 seconds. Personal record. See you next Thursday.
Your safety, our absolute priority
Working with seniors demands constant vigilance. Our coaches are trained to act safely.
Former volunteer firefighters
Tom and Camille are both former volunteer firefighters. They are confident with first-aid skills and know how to react in a medical emergency.
First-aid certified
Up-to-date PSC1 certification, ongoing first-aid training. If discomfort arises during a session, you're in good hands.
Safe exercises
Every exercise is performed near a stable support (chair, wall, worktop). We never put you in an uncontrolled balance situation.
In contact with your doctor
We work in coordination with your GP to adapt the programme to your conditions and current treatments.
